Job Title: Deputy Clerk

Reports to: Town Clerk/ Treasurer 

Classification: Full-time Hourly, Non-exempt

Compensation: $20-$22/hr. depending on experience. 

Benefits: Health, Life, Dental, Vision, Short-Term Disability, Retirement (401a)

 

Job Description: The Town of Silverton is seeking a new Deputy Clerk. This position is an integral part of the Town Hall’s function and is expected to support the Town Clerk in clerk/ treasurer duties in addition to providing support for other departments. Clerical services, data entry, basic word processing, and receptionist/ customer service skills are required for this position. The ability to work and communicate effectively, efficiently, and responsibly with elected/ appointed officials, employees, and the general public is preferred.

FPR Maintenance Lead

Job Title: FPR Maintenance Lead

Reports to: Facilities, Parks & Recreation Director

Classification: Full-time seasonal, Non-exempt

Compensation: $22-$28/hr depending on experience. 

 

Job Description: The Town of Silverton is seeking a FPR Maintenance Lead under the Facilities, Parks and Recreation Department. The position collaborates with the FPR Director to serve as leader of a small on-site maintenance crew at various Town facilities, parks, and assets. Additionally, the position involves monitoring, operating, maintenance, repair, and additional oversight of Town-owned properties including Molas Lake Campground, Kendall Mountain Recreation Area and Chairlift, Town Hall, Visitor's Center, Memorial Park, Aneisi Park, Silverton Carnegie Library, Hillside Cemetery, Carriage House, and all other Town-owned properties. This is a full-time seasonal position with strong potential for year-round benefited employment.
