July 4th Celebration Cancelled
JULY 4TH CELEBRATION CANCELLED
The Silverton Fourth of July Association has announced the cancellation of its annual Independence Day celebration due to concerns with COVID-19. This includes the carnival at Memorial Park, the street dance, parade, camping, and the fireworks show. There is a tremendous amount of time and coordination from many community organizations needed to put on an event like this. With the holiday only 49 days away, and uncertainty about future state mandates regarding the size of gatherings, the committee believes this to be the best decision at this time. We apologize for any disappointment this may cause and hope to welcome you back in 2021. For more information contact the Silverton 4th of July Association: www.silverton4thofjuly.org.
Please note that Memorial Park is a Town facility and is an alcohol, smoke and drug free zone.
